About Parichay Patra:

Parichay Patra is a doctoral candidate in the dept. of Film and Screen Studies,

School of Media, Film and Journalism, Monash University, Australia. His area of research is the Indian New Wave cinema of the 1970s. He has co-edited (with Vikrant Kishore & Amit Sarwal) Bollywood and Its Others: Towards New Configurations (Palgrave Macmillan, 2014). His next co-edited book (with Vikrant Kishore & Amit Sarwal) Salaam Bollywood published by Routledge (UK) is due for a release in April 2016.
