Neighbourhood Watch Tarneit Central organised one of the biggest Community Meet & Greet events!
On Sunday 20th November, Neighbourhood Watch Tarneit Central organised one of the biggest Community Meet & Greet events in Melbourne at Encore Events Centre in Hoppers crossing. The event was lined up with various activities and cultural performance to celebrate the local members, and their contribution and engagement with the community and to create a wider network and support for the community members.
It was a good gathering of the community, where members showed appreciation for the work done by the volunteers, and community champions. Many were commended and recognised for their excellent community services.
The event boasted of extravagant cultural performances, panel discussion on post COVID mental health and fitness, and various fun activities for children.
With the tag line – “It’s all about making your community safer and feel more connected”, the group has made a huge contribution in the suburb of Tarneit.

Heather Marcus , Victoria Police Team, Neighbourhood Policing Team, State Emergency Service (SES), Truganina Fire Brigade Team (CFA), Neighbourhood Watch Victoria, and Senior Citizens Group, and other esteemed members for their valuable time and support for the community for being a part of this event.” The bonhomie, celebration in this gathering reflected the work done by the Neighbourhood Watch Tarneit Central group and how the group has been successful in bringing together people in a positive way to care for and support each other.
